Slicehost is aimed at providing VPS servers to web developers. Have you ever been setting up a website when all of sudden you get a error, only to find out that a specific apache module is needed? Or maybe you need a wildcard DNS entry for something like, say, WordPress Mu.

VPS stands for Virtual Private Server and it’s aimed at people that need a little more flexibility than your standard web host, without coughing up huge dollars for a dedicated server.

So what’s the big deal? Why am I so hot on Slice Host? I mean, there’s other VPS services out there, and Slice Host themselves claim that their NOT the cheapest. (They’re pretty reasonable in my opinion.) Well, at the moment I’m working through some of their free server configuration tutorials like how to secure your linux server and how to configure Apache. These are great tutorials that even beginners could follow pretty easily.

Indeed, I’ve been using one that I built for a couple years now, but I have a more-than-full-time job as a designer and project manager for a design agency in Vancouver, and I’m a proud Dad to two young monkies — so free time is pretty tight.

Unfortunately the people making over $2.9 Million per year usually have lots of influence to avoid paying more taxes. How greedy and selfish do you need to be? Average working people like myself would be happy to pay an extra $700k in taxes if only I were making over $2.9 Mil!

Bravo Obama. If they don’t want you as President in the United States will you come up to Canada? Canadians would be lucky to have such a strong candidate to vote for.

Here’s a quick and dirty tutorial for adding a Digg button to your Blogspot template.

Don’t forget to back up your template before making any changes!

First thing you need to do is check the box beside “Expand Widget Templates”.

My example shows how to add the Digg counter in the footer below the post. To see how this example looks in action have a look at Tattoo Pics.

Using the picture below as a guide, scroll down until you find the line:

Note: Most often there is nothing inside this paragraph tag so it is closed with a slash at the end. Before adding the Digg code you need to open up the tag so it looks like this:

</p>

Then add this code in between the tags so it looks like the example in the picture below.

You don’t need to change any of the code to work with your specific blog. The code will grab your Post URL and your Post Title automatically.
